Canada's Agriculture Day

CCFI Prepares for Canada’s Ag Day on February 22, 2022

January 24, 2022

In May 2021, the Canadian Centre for Food Integrity assumed the leadership of Canada’s Agriculture Day, a day to celebrate Canadian agriculture and the people who produce our food. It is also one of the only days in the year when the agricultural community and consumers come together, generating stronger public trust in our food system. While it is a collective effort from the entire Canadian food system, social media for this national celebration is hosted by Ag More Than Ever, an entity of CCFI. With only a month to go, CCFI is reaching out to as many partners as possible to ensure Canada’s Ag Day is a success.

Impressive Results

Since 2017, Canada’s Agriculture Day has been recognized by thousands of people across Canada, as well as globally. Year after year, #CdnAgDay is a trending topic on Twitter nationwide, earning hundreds of millions of impressions and tens of thousands of online mentions. The 2021 edition has achieved its best results since its inception.
