May 4, 2023
The Canadian Centre for Food Integrity (CCFI) is proud to announce that registration is now open for the 2023 Public Trust Summit, which aims to bring together industry leaders, experts, and consumers to discuss and explore the critical issue of public trust in the food system. This two-day event will be held on October 17-18 at the Westin Airport Hotel in Toronto, and will feature a range of keynote speakers, panel discussions, and breakout sessions.
The summit will kick off with a keynote presentation by Darrell Bricker, Global CEO of IPSOS Public Affairs, who will share his insights on public opinion and trust in the food system. Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from a consumer panel moderated by Darlene McBain, Director of Industry Relations at the FCC, where they can learn about consumer perspectives on the food system.
One of the most anticipated parts of the summit will be the research results presented by Ashley Bruner, Research Manager at the CCFI. Ashley’s research results will provide valuable insights into the current state of public trust in the food system and will inform discussions and recommendations for future improvements. Another important keynote speaker at the summit will be Derek Nighbor, President and CEO of the Forest Products Association of Canada. Derek’s presentation will focus on building trust from a cross-sectoral perspective, drawing on his experience in the forest products industry.
On Wednesday, October 18, participants will continue the conversation with a series of interactive breakout sessions on current topics such as communication strategies adapted to demographics, SEO 101, and food trends. These sessions will provide attendees with the opportunity to engage with industry leaders and peers, gain concrete knowledge, and share experiences on specific topics.
The 2023 Public Trust Summit is a unique opportunity for anyone interested in the food system to engage in important conversations, learn from industry experts, and share their experiences and perspectives. Early registration is now open until June 5, so be sure to take advantage of this special offer and register online today.
