Website Link Policy

Canadian Centre for Food Integrity does not endorse any particular website regardless of whether any external links are contained within our pages. We link to outside sites solely for the purpose of guiding our visitors to possible additional sources of information.

CCFI does not actively review all of the content of the websites linked from the CCFI site and is not responsible for the content of any off-site pages or any other websites linked to this site. These websites are independent from CCFI and, as such, we have no control over the content on these websites. It is the visitor’s responsibility to take precautions to ensure that whatever link is selected is free from viruses, worms, Trojan horses and other items of a destructive nature.

Evaluation Criteria for Sites

The following criteria are used to evaluate the appropriateness and validity for sites that could be potentially linked from the CCFI website:

  • The primary intent of the website is to educate and inform, rather than persuade, convert, or sell. The site may include advertising but must be free from heavy marketing or promotion of products.
  • The site’s owner or sponsor is easily identifiable, and information on how to contact the owner or sponsor is provided.
  • The site clearly states if any charges or registration process is required for use of the site.
  • The site does not promote specific religious or other social agendas.
