Nicole McAuley

Nicole McAuley is Head of Communications and Public Affairs for BASF Canada Agricultural Solutions. With over 15 years of experience in corporate affairs across multiple sectors including agriculture, energy, infrastructure, and mining, Nicole is an expert in leading organizations to bring their social purpose to life through communications, corporate citizenship, and advocacy. Nicole uses great content and strategic positioning to amplify internal and external campaigns with outstanding storytelling impact. Prior to joining BASF in 2018, Nicole previously held global communications roles at Hatch, Vale and Yamana Gold.

As the leader of corporate communications, media relations, government advocacy, social media, community investment, and employee communications and engagement, Nicole has significantly influenced and built upon BASF’s reputation as a market leader in Canadian agriculture.

Nicole serves on several boards and associations including as a Board Director for the Canadian Centre for Food Integrity, Co-Chair of the Food Supply Council with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, and the Government Affairs Committee at CropLife Canada.

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Sociology and Political Science from the University of Guelph.
