Burnbrae Farms is proud to be Canadian family-owned since 1891. They are the largest family-owned and operated egg business in Canada, committed to providing Canadians with sustainable, nutritious, great-tasting eggs and egg products. For generations, the Hudson family has given back to local communities through grassroots programs, as well as local and national charities, enhancing the lives of Canadians, one egg at a time.
Their Role in Canada’s Food System
Eggs are one of the most nutritious, versatile, and affordable foods available. They are proud to introduce TERRABRAE™, a new product that recycles eggshells into a calcium-rich soil additive for gardeners and growers across Canada. TERRABRAE™ is a garden and lawn soil enhancer made 100% with eggshells from Burnbrae Farms eggs. It is packed with natural calcium to help improve soil health and structure, balance soil pH, and strengthen plant cell walls.
